If you use Script Hook V for mods, you will need to wait for an updated version. Remove dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll temporarily to play GTA Online. For PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 5 (PS4 version) Step 1: Go to GTA V on your home screen → Press the Options button → Select “Check for Update”.

The launcher will then “patching” – this is where it modifies existing .rpf files. Do not interrupt this step. It may appear stuck at 50% for 10-15 minutes. This is normal. You will see “Updating Grand Theft Auto V…”
Once patched, the launcher will run a final verification. Click “Launch” only when it says “Play”.
